A Surprise Visit to See Pops

Paxson likes the big tires....don't worry, the backhoe wasn't running!
Pops loves his Gracie Myers....they are look-alikes with their glasses.
A cool drink after hard work!
Paxson's dream come true!
A real "working boy"!
Pops gives Paxson a little lesson in shifting gears.

After we left Paxson's pre-school picnic, he wanted to find his Memama. She usually serves lunch at the church on Thursdays, but Paxson had a hard time understanding that it was not her usual day to be at Sharon. So, I told him we'd drive by her house for a visit. Well, Memama was not home, she was out delivering Friendship Trays, but Pops was there replacing the patio around the swimming pool. Paxson talked Pops into letting him sit on the backhoe while we were there. As usual, little sister was just along for the ride!

SPWS End of Year Picnic

Our precious two year old graduate!
Paxson and Samuel at the sing-along
Samuel, Paxson and David had fun running around the old oak tree
Samuel is Paxson's friend that he would talk about EVERY day!
Mrs. Patti and Mrs. Sallie, Paxson's super sweet teachers
Claire, Paxson and Megan....these three had a blast together!
Paxson wrapped up his first year of pre-school at Sharon Presbyterian Weekday School by attending a school-wide sing-along and picnic. All of the children sang song that they learned during the school year. Paxson's new favorite song is "Skidmarinkidink" and it is so precious to hear him sing it. Paxson enjoyed one last game of chase with his friends before heading home for the summer. Before the picnic, Paxson practiced what he would say to his Mrs. Patti and Mrs. Sallie when he told him good-bye. What he was supposed to say was, "Thank you for being a great teacher". Instead, he surprised us all by telling them "Happy Mother's Day"!
